晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 alumni, Arnold Livingston Geis (12) and Matthew Kellaway (12), are singing this season with the LA Master Chorale (LAMC). The Chorale is currently in its 50th season as a resident company of The Music Center of Los Angeles County and its 11th as the resident chorus at Disney Hall.

The LAMC performs the Messiah Sing-Along on December 11 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown L.A., in which Geis has a solo.

I currently sing with the LAMC for all of their full call concerts, which means all of the big concerts that involve all 100 members, said Kellaway, whose next performance with LAMC will be in late January performing Bach's B Minor Mass at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Earlier this year, Geis also began his first season as a chorister in the Los Angeles Operas performances of The Flying Dutchman.

With a bachelors degree in vocal performance from 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023s Conservatory of Music, Geis is currently pursuing his masters in voice at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California.

At 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 there are tons of opportunities for singers to get experience with ensembles and solo performances, said Geis. [晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023] professors care about development not only as a singer but also as a Christian impacting the world for Christ through music.

Geis and Kellaway were accepted into the LAMC by process of audition, which consisted of sight-reading in the first audition and singing in a quartet for the call-backs.

Geis said that 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023s music program helped prepare him for success after graduation. Participation in the mens acapella group The Kings Men, Chamber choir and concert performances.

All [these opportunities] helped me be prepared to do some more pretty challenging things in life, they helped me put myself out there, said Geis.

Geis will also perform in the LA Operas production of Billy Budd, running from February 22 to March 16, 2014.
