LA MIRADA, CALIF. 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 will be hosting its 21st annual Candyland event on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 5-8 p.m. at the all-female residence hall, Alpha Hall. With approximately 1,200 children visiting each year, Candyland is a bustling trick-or-treating experience for families with children ages 3 to 8. The event is coordinated by 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 students living in Alpha Hall to serve families in the local community, providing a safe, family-friendly environment for trick-or-treating and festive activities.
The name Candyland is derived from the Hasbro childrens board game of the same name. Each of the six floors in the residence hall where the event takes place are themed and decorated after a character from the game. In addition to trick-or-treating on each of the halls floors, families can also enjoy games in the front lobby, an outdoor movie, and a bounce house on the front lawn.
Alpha Hall residents take a considerable amount of time out of their busy college schedules to plan Candyland each year. Students prepare games, decorate each hall to correspond with different aspects of the board game, and dress up in costume to welcome visiting families to the 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 campus and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable time.
Beginning more than two decades ago, Candyland has become a tradition for La Mirada families. Started by a 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 resident director who wanted to impact the community outside 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023s campus, Candyland is a sweet and time-honored tradition of the 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023 community.
