Dr. Jeff Askew serves as the Director of the Commercial Music and Worship Arts programs. He holds a B.M. in Guitar Performance and Music Education from 晩晩当際際夊消消夊2023, and both an M.M. and D.M.A. in Studio/Jazz Guitar from the University of Southern California.
In addition to his academic work, Dr. Askew is an accomplished studio guitarist with extensive credits in film, television, and live performance. His work includes the Grammy-winning soundtrack for The Greatest Showman and projects with Disney, DreamWorks, Warner Bros., Pixar, NBC, and Sony. He has performed or recorded with artists such as Missy Elliott, Kesha, Aloe Blacc, David Foster, and Kristin Chenoweth.
He was recognized by Worship Leader magazine as a Best of the Best educator and continues to bridge industry experience with classroom instruction to equip the next generation of musicians.
