How to Apply
Students who apply to attend the Semester in Spain must complete a ÈÕÈÕÅöºÝºÝÔê¾Ã¾ÃÔê2023 application for review by Study Abroad. In addition to the ÈÕÈÕÅöºÝºÝÔê¾Ã¾ÃÔê2023 Study Abroad application, students must also complete an application with the program provider, .
Semester in Spain is a study abroad program in Sevilla (Seville) promoting immersive learning, intercultural engagement and an inclusive Christian community.
Program Overview
The program fully immerses students in a cross-cultural experience in Sevilla (Seville), Spain. There you will explore, dance, sip, snack, cheer and dive deep into Spain and its rich culture!
While studying abroad with Semester in Spain, students will:
- Live with vetted host families.
- Attend classes at the beautiful school in the city center. The language of instruction is always Spanish. Staff and faculty are Spaniards and live in Seville as well.
- Have access to various faith-growth opportunities including Acción Solidaria (Service Learning), reflection, engagement in local churches and young adult groups, weekly Encuentro praise and worship service and small group Bible study.
- Embark on faculty-led excursions around Seville and the many other regions of Spain. From beach towns to a portion of the Camino de Santiago, students will get to see the geographic diversity of Spain.
- Prepare to use Spanish after graduation by studying Spanish for Business, Spanish for Education, Spanish for Healthcare y más!
- Enroll in courses that meet your goals! A wide variety of classes are available in literature, current events, grammar & composition, art, history and communication.
The Semester in Spain program will best fit with ÈÕÈÕÅöºÝºÝÔê¾Ã¾ÃÔê2023 study abroad applicants who are Spanish majors or Spanish minors.

Airfare, passport, partial meals, local transportation, and textbooks are not included in the program cost. Students will live in a convent for the semester. Students accepted to participate in the program during the 2025-26 year will be billed the Program Cost as seen above. This cost is before financial aid.
